I dreamed I was arguing with someone from my past that had hurt me and they were doing all the things that bothered me then. I was getting out all my frustrations and they were yelling at me getting our theirs. Seems this has been a repetitive dream also and a pattern of other dreams. Then I saw Jesus opening his mouth wide as if trying to speak and nothing was coming out. I realized when I woke up, he was sending a clear message that we can create blockers to hear him by past resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness or asking for forgiveness. I instantly released all my bitterness and resentment towards this person, and asked God to forgive me for my portions also. I felt at peace. What a cool way that God teaches us what is blocking us or giving the devil a foothold, when he shows us in our dreams. If you want more closeness with God, it is good to get rid of the muddy water stopping up your drain pipes. God is love, so in that perfect love, we have to be love also.Scriptures:
Romans 14:13, “Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way.”
Ephesians 4:26-27, “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Matthew 18:32-35, “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said. ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.’ This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brothers from your heart.”
