Two visions the Lord revealed to me about our suffering seasons, refinement and he’s smiling for what’s ahead. The lord was speaking, but I could read his thoughts without his lips moving. I also got several prophetic messages as well as experiences that helped this all make sense. See video message above or read the full message below.
If you’re in a season of deep pain, suffering, heartbreak, or darkness, the lord has a message.
There are times I’ve cried out to the Lord, asking Him to take away the pain. Maybe you’ve done the same. You feel wounded and surrounded by darkness or suffering. In those moments, it can feel like you’re carrying so much weight or just ready to give up.
The Lord gave me two visions that brought me comfort and understanding to help others, and he always wants me to share for others to understand what he is doing in this type of season.
The Lord started teaching me something very important: we are meant to draw our strength from Him, not from people. Humans will disappoint us. They may reject us, betray us, break promises, or even leave us. But the Lord never leaves us, so if we draw our strength from him it will be more secure and stable strength.
God also kept showing me that He understands rejection and betrayal more than we realize. He knows that pain bc he experiences even now when pl reject him all over the world.
The first vision appeared to the right side of me and the image I created is very close with a few differences.
I saw Jesus sitting beside my bed. It wasn’t a hospital room, but my heart felt wounded enough that I got an impression of a hospital bed. I was lying in bed under white sheets, and all I could see were my legs stretched out in front of me and Jesus to the right.
I realized a lot of the prophetic messages also went with these visions and messages, so I am adding them here. “Refinement” “Will you hand it to me” “Greater is he that is in you then he that is in the world” “Your season is changing” “A new season…honor” “Powerful connection, giving back what you lost”
Jesus was wearing a thick white robe. He was leaning toward me with His left hand resting on the bed and His right hand in His lap. He was smiling at me.
What stood out most was His gentleness and leaning in very close.
His smile was pure, loving, and full of compassion. He looked at me with such care and concern that it made me want to smile even in my sadness.
I sensed Him saying:
“I have this under control and If you could see what I have planned ahead, if you could see what is coming, you would be smiling too. I will stay here as long as you need for strength. “
For years, I wondered why Jesus would sometimes be smiling while I was suffering in these visions. But in that moment, I understood. His smile wasn’t ignoring my pain. He was smiling bc he saw the future outcome and knew what was ahead. He sees the future when we only see the present.
Jeremiah 29:11 came to mind:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Immediately after that vision, I saw a second one.
This time, Jesus was to the left side of me.
Again, He was very close, leaning in toward me. But this vision felt different.
His head was bowed downward, and His eyes were closed. I immediately knew he was feeling my sadness.
It felt as though He was saying:
“I know this hurts. I’m here with you. I’ll sit with you as long as you need.”
The Lord wasn’t rushing me through my pain. He wasn’t demanding that I instantly be strong. He was just present and getting even closer.
Just knowing He was there gave me strength.
Both visions carried the same message: Jesus was close.
Not distant. Not absent. Not unaware. Close. Leaning in. Present in my suffering.
The Bible reminds us of Isaiah 41:10, God says:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.”
Sometimes our suffering comes because someone betrayed us or broke promises they made.
Sometimes it comes because we’ve been relying too heavily on people instead of drawing strength from God.
Sometimes it comes from our own mistakes and choices.
But regardless of the reason, God does not abandon us in suffering. He sits with us in it.
The Lord also showed me that many believers are in a season of refinement. Refinement is not punishment.
It’s the process of being purified and strengthened through the fire.
Just as gold is refined by fire, God often uses difficult seasons to draw us closer to Him and shape us into who He created us to be. The lord is always wanting us to grow.
The challenge is also learning to believe what God says over what the enemy is showing or saying to us.
The enemy whispers fear, hopelessness, rejection, and despair.
God speaks hope, purpose, restoration, and truth.
We must learn to take every thought captive and bring it before the Lord. And when we feel too weak to do that, we can ask Him for help.
God sees farther than we do. He knows what is ahead. He knows how the story unfolds. He makes beauty from ashes.
And while He never wants us to remain stuck in our pain, He will faithfully sit beside us until we are strong enough to move forward with him again.
Remember this, draw your strength from God, don’t believe what the devil plants in your ears over what God has said and sometimes we just need to start moving forward in faith vs emotion. He wants to grow us into the version he see’s we can be and in order to do that, we can’t stay where we are.
