Vision: I saw Jesus placing a single coin in something.
“Luke 21:1-4 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”
Give with the heart and not with expectations in return! We should not demand God give us back for our debts or what we give, or tempt God with money. All money belongs to him and we should not let our left hand know what our right hand is doing when we give (Matthew 6:3). Therefore, we should never ask for it back (Luke 6:30) or demand it back (Matthew 4:3) otherwise we cared too much what we gave away. Give it away as if giving to God. Give out of love for him. With love and trust like a child knowing he will repay as he promised in his perfect timing (Luke 6:38). The OT laws required tithing 10%, but the NT laws now put us under no such contracts, however Jesus shows for us to live in higher standards now then Moses laws (Matthew 5:20-28). Jesus shows now we are to exceed the expectations of the “old time” testament rules, so giving is still rewarded and good in God’s eyes. Give where the holy spirit guides you to give (Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7).More understanding of Tithes and promises of God’s rewards:
